THA FIRST SET.

Alright, I started work on two characters who will be the mascots of this blog o' mine. Their names are Stud Muffin and Mary Sue. They are crazy colorful ponies. They will be joined by more hypnotizing crazy colorful ponies in the future. Each one will represent either a genre or my opinion. I figured turning this into a dumb themed review thing would make it more entertaining.

Actually, I think I'll do -both-. The pony on the left of the movie poster can be genre pony, and the pony I post at the bottom will basically be the same pony, but instead of rating by numbers, it'll be how the pony felt physically after watching the film. Bad films make ponies very queasy, you know. And trippy films make ponies feel high. Really really good films make ponies feel fat and happy.

I guess I better get to work with making the first base for our first film. If anyone happens to read this before I make the first post, if you have a preference as to which of the following movies I should have the ponies digest first, let me know. If no response is made, I'll just go ahead and pick one at random.

The movies in question ARE *drum roll*:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Julie & Julia
Mr. Holland's Opus
The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
Batman Returns
What about Bob?
Everything is Illuminated
Silverado
Toys
Dead Like Me: Life After Death
Groundhog Day
UHF
Catch Me if you Can
Road to Perdition
Avatar

There are a few movies that I've already done on another website that I might rereview on here just using the method I'll be using here. (Because the pony method will be much much cooler and more awesomer)

THOSE movies in question are:
District 9
3:10 to Yuma
Pulp Fiction
9
Castaway
Perfect Blue
Memento
Repo! The Genetic Opera
Whisper of the Heart
Total Recall
Persepolis
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Seven Pounds
Benny and Joon
Sinbad and the Legend of the 7 Seas
Memoirs of the Geisha
Grave of the Fireflies
Tokyo Godfathers
Millennium Actress
Legend of Drunken Master
The Animatrix
Transformers 2
The Spirit
Amelie

Agh, there were more than that, but I don't feel like searching any longer <___<;;;

If there's anything you want me to watch and review, say so. I'll remind people this after every review that I do.

I'm thinking I'm going to try and do this one review a day (or maybe more than one at first just to get through some of the list quicker), but I guess I'm going to mostly just do these when I can. College keeps one very busy so I might not always have time to keep up with this.

  1. So what about food movies like Julie and Julia? If the ponies are already fat and happy, does this make them bloated/ecstatic? Just don't make them watch Groundhog Day afterward or the pastry consumption will. never. stop. @_@

This blog seems like an fun little idea. Go wild.

  2. Not necessarily. Merely watching a film about food is not enough to satisfy the needs of a pony.
And sure it will stop! Once they find happiness and true satisfaction with the people around them :D

    Hahah thanks
